Default New/Interesting Things To Do!

Hey guys,

My friends and I tend to almost always go to movies and/or go out for food.

We are looking for something different to do this evening (after 7 PM) and I was wondering if anyone had any insights?

Go to a park and play basketball or frisbee or tennis or roadhockey... float down the river on a dingy...

Camping in the backcountry is alot of fun if you're willing to let it stretch into tomorrow morning.

Thanks for all the ideas guys... I'm working on my incredibly indecisive friends. Thinking of laser tag too. (The girl of the group would not go for paintball.)

noisely bury a dummy in your back yard after midnight

Go to the police station and tell them that your dog said something really bad was going to happen.

Ask your neighbour for directions to the nearest aryan nations compound.

Just a start

When I was younger we used to play a game called "Brick." You get 4 guys together and each guy puts in $100. At the end of the night the winner gets the pot.

Drive downtown with the brick in the car with you. Each person gets an equal number of tries throwing it into a group of homeless people. 10 points for each homeless person you hit.

However if somebody throws into the group of homeless people and doesn't hit a single person, that person has to get out of the car to go pick up the brick.

(Yes, I did grow up in Winnipeg.)
And in case anybody is wondering, yes I am joking about this "game."

Maybe to reduce the chance of killing someone, do it with a tennis ball.

push some wheelchair people down some stairs... like a slinky, not good for much of anything but everyone has a laugh when they tumble down some stairs!

I usually make 2-3 trips to Calgary every year and enjoy these things

1) Heritage Park

2) Downtown shopping and Calgary tower

3) Golfing at some of the nicer courses

4) The Zoo is cool for the first few times. What's that arctic theme coming up?

5) Go to Banff for a day or two

Calgary is one fine city. I'll definitely move to one of Edmonton or Calgary within the next 5 years. I'll hate your sports teams though if I move to Cowtown. Deal?
