Default Waterspout!

Here is some cool footage from a waterspout that ripped off a roof in Sydney on Friday. Also, the "coldest day in Sydney in ten years" was a bone-chilling 11.5 degrees Celsius.

Wow... thats pretty amazing.... but a quick question to meteorologist out there... do waterspout do the same amount of damage a tornado does or would be it significantly less??

And BTW... an 11.5 degree Celsius is pretty cold when you're by the ocean... or almost any large bodies of water...

We had what is believed to be a waterspout based on the color of the funnel in the picture that was taken about 25 minutes outside of here three weeks ago.

There was also four or five tornados that touched down in Southern Manitoba yesterday that killed one woman.
