I personally woundnt pick that wireless combo up. I know 19$ is hard to pass up, I guess it depends on what you want it for, controlling compuer via tv from a great distance or using it at your computer. A few easy google searches and with fairly consistent use (4+Hrs/day) it eats a set of battery in 10 days.
Logitech makes a fantasic wireless mouse that has extra battery packs you can change on the go and recharges via the dock port through USB, I just picked it up from MemX, I would link it but since MemX doesnt sponsor here, not sure if its legal. I am not a fan of Wireless keyboards but I am sure that Logitech makes a similar keybaord setup.

Yeah, it's not that I have any plans to use the computer in the living room very much. It's more that my TV came with 2 PC inputs, and I do have spare computers kicking around, so just because I can do it I will do it. I'm even considering pulling my Laserdisc out of retirement and hooking it up just for the sake of having more of the 13 available inputs used on this TV.

I have* a Logitech wireless keyboard/mouse combo at home. I haven't had a problem with the keyboard, but the mouse simply tears through batteries (it was pre-rechargeable mouse era).
*note: actually had. A few months ago my wife was complaining about RSI, so she bought a MS Natural Keyboard. And I now have a Logitech MPS1000 wireless rechargeable mouse. So my wireless keyboard combo is collecting dust, but the keyboard (which I loved) still works like a champ.

The camera interests me, but it appears to be a CMOS sensor, and from what I have seen it appears the better ones for security are CCD.

Futureshop is selling an LG 20.1" widescreen LCD monitor for $369. Is Dell that much better?

I can't find much info about the panel FS is selling. It is one heck of a price.
I do know the panel Dell uses is generally acclaimed to be one of the best around. The 2005WFP was the same panel Apple used in their high-end displays. I have the 2405 I purchased a year ago (great for doing programming) and am very pleased with it.
So if the LG looks good to you, it is such a good price it would be tough to pass up. But I know those Dell models are quality, so since I stare at a monitor all day for work (and often at home) I'd probably pay the extra $ for the Dell.

For the 2x07 panels, there was some issues with them with banding and text ghosting. Apparently they're fixed with new revisions.
Lots of discussion about this here:

Well, I just talked to my buddy at work who buys all of the office equipment for a discount, and now I've ordered an LG 19" LCD screen (not a widescreen) with what seem to be better specs than that 20.1" widescreen from DELL. It cost me $248 plus GST. 1400:1, 8ms response rate, yadda yadda yadda. I think it'll do the trick.

If I was looking for a 20" widescreen I'd rather buy the Viewsonic Memoryexpress has for $370 than the Dell.

Cause at 19" it's a 1280x1024 resolution (for a 4:3 aspect ratio screen), while at 20" it's 1600x1200. For wide screen I think it's 1440x900 vs 1680x1050.
That's why I prefer the 20" wide screen or a 20" normal, more pixels.

Speaking of Dell, does anyone know how long it takes them to deliver their products? I ordered a laptop over a week ago and according to the status of the product on my account it says it was shipped last wednesday but still haven't received it, so i'm just wondering if it takes more than a week to deliver it.

What Photon said and economy of scale. There are more 17 and 19 LCDs being produced by the suppliers which makes it cheaper for the monitor manufacturers and cheaper for us. As they expand their distro of 20" it'll drop too.
