There have been all kinds of bizarre mass-shootings in Seattle this week, why not add a religiously motivated attack to the list?

Obviously this Muslim never read the Koran.

Ouch. Not to bring up the US guns vs Canadian no guns debate but how many murders did Vancouver (a comparable city to Seattle) have? I am guessing much less.

I read a story on that a couple days ago:
http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/...n/4077666.html

But Seattle's murder rate is low for a city of nearly 600,000. There were 24 killings in 2004 and 25 last year. Boston, of comparable size, had 61 in 2004 and 73 last year.

Seattle is now at at least 18 for this year, with six of them coming in one mass shooting alone.

Vancouver had 19 murders in 2005.
