WTB: Cheap Cell phone

my sister busted her cell phone, so if anyone has an old cell phone around and they want to get rid of it please let me know.
the farther south the more I am whiling to pay, but still the less then better.
as far as type of phone i dont really care, but it needs to work with telus.

the price. i didnt even look at the phone to tell you the truth. i know 40 probably isnt an unreasonalbe amount to request for the phone but i am just looking for something cheaper.
