Stephen King's Nightmares and Dreamscapes

Anyone else watching this? Is it available in Canada? Parts of it have been pretty good so far. The episode this week with William H. Macy was quite good.

I saw a commercial for it a couple weeks ago, saying that it was starting last Wednesday night, but for the life of me I couldn't find it anywhere on TV or in the guide, so I don't think it's available in Canada yet which sucks because I loved most of the short stories in the book and really wanted to watch the show. Especially the "So I Hear They've Got A Hell of a Band" episode. They should have done one with the raining frogs too.

I always thought that Kings short story, The Mist, from Skeleton Crew would have made a good movie too.

I think they should finally come out with the ultimate "reality TV show" and do King's "The Long Walk".

The rules are simple - If you walk too slow, you get a warning, 4 warnings and you are shot. There is only one winner.

That would be great TV!

Such an odd little story.

I liked "Battleground", except for when they deviated from the short story (the whole bit with the commando), hated the second show about the couple wandering around Bunch End or whatever (boooorrringgg - I don't even remember it being in the book), and really liked "The End of the Whole Mess" - even though I already knew how it would turn out.

All in all, I would suggest you give it a chance. They have some pretty great actors.
