Default Has anybody bought a Mazda 6 here?

Here being "Calgary and surrounding area".

I'm heading to Kramer Mazda in the next few days to test drive the Sport in both the 4 cylinder and the V6 (both manuals). I know Mazda doesn't really budge much with deals involving the Mazda 3, but I've heard with the 6 the price is more easily negotiated.

Has anybody had any experience purchasing through Mazda? I've bought cars before and negotiated, I just want to go in as prepared as possible.

I see someone happens to be a moderator on there.

I found mazda6club.com but this one looks better, thanks Claeren, I'll check it out.

Well I have a Mazda 3 and I do love it, if that helps. The new Mazda cars seem to be pretty solid these days.

Where'd you buy it at?

How were they to deal with? Did you manage to negotiate the price on a 3 or are they still pretty inflexible on it?

haha, LONG LONG ago....

That site has been around forever. Joined the first version in the mid-1990's. mx6.com and probetalk.com are two institutions of messageboard culture in my mind.

you might want to go to car cost canada and get the invoice price. With the 06 going out and the 07 coming in, you might want to see if there's any dealer incentives. With the invoice price, I would try to go in with a price of invoice + 3-4%.

I own a 04 Mazda 3 myself. Got it through Sunridge. I bought it for Invoice + 4%. That's why I suggested what I suggested.

We are looking at the same car, the interest rate on the Mazda6 is uber-low right now and if you compare 60 month financing between a Mazda 3 or 5 (High interest) and a Mazda6 (Low interest) the end cost (car+borrowing costs) is pretty close.

As far as a deal goes, I imagine that the margins are tight if you finance, but you may be able to get $500 to $2000 off the sticker price
