Broken Lizard Fans... New Movie!
Fans of Super Troopers might be interested to know that Broken Lizard have a new movie (Beerfest) coming out on August 25th. You can check out the trailer on their myspace page.

Personally, I love Super Troopers, but never watched Club Dread because I heard it was simply terrible. This movie looks like it could be better, but probably not Super Trooper quality. Watching the trailer though, I kind of want to see it.

Club Dread wasn't terrible, wasn't great, it had it's moments and was worth watching once, but not SuperTrooper's quality. Beerfest looks good, definately going to see it.

if it's supertrooper quality, I'll be sure to avoid it. For all the hype I thought it was a terrible movie.

I know what you mean Habby. The first time I watched I thought it was lame. The next couple times I watched it I found it hilarious. I think their stuff grows on you.

I was quite drunk the first time I saw it, but what made that movie for me was that the next morning I went to Smitty's for breakfast with some friends where we ordered a litre of juice.
That and having friends passed out who manage to respond with "Good enough to **** your mother!" when asked how he's doing at the very moment the line shows up in the movie...
I love the stoner kids too. CANDY BARS.

If you went to Smitty's the next morning, I can't believe you didn't try to chug the syrup!

I've had the pleasure (?) of seeing somebody do that... and down the whole thing within 30 seconds or so.

Best quote from Club Dread.

That looks awesome! I can't wait... it should place in between ST and CD for sure... but it has potential to be the best

Super Troopers = Classic, Hilarious
Club Dread = Brutal, not fit for public consumption

Awesome...good news.
Super Troopers is one of the greatest movies ever.
Club Dread is good but doesn't live up to Super Troopers.
Has anyone seen Puddle Cruiser? It was made prior to Super Troopers and recently (last winter) released on DVD. It's pretty frickin' funny (although not Super Troopers funny) and definately lower budget. Check it out if you get a chance.
