I'm going there in January for CES, as well if you find any let me know. I guess there are always buffets.

I'm not sure of any cheap places on the strip but pretty much all the buffets will set you back ~$20 american (or more). Depends on your point of view but I don't exactly consider that cheap. The cheapest places will be off the strip. I would check out one of the In-N-Out burgers if I was you. Order a double double animal style and you won't regret it.

Honestly, all the buffets average at $20USD, as stated by Kybosh. All of the hotels on the strip offer great buffets; Mandalay and Caesar's are my personal favorites. (Sam's Town is cool too, but it's a ways south, off the strip) But before you see any of that, I MUST suggest the World Carnival Buffet at Rio. It's the biggest and best in the world. It's like the size of Sunridge Mall. ...hahaha It seats about 1500 people just for you to get an idea. Trust me... it is crazy!

I'm going to Vegas for two days in early August as part of my summer vacation.

It's a fairly big chain in the states but on Tuesday if you like wings, Buffalo Wild Wings is excellent. Wings are 25 cents on Tuesdays. There's something like four locations in the area.

I don't know the exact addresses off hand but there are two just off the strip (maybe a couple kilometers on either side. . .one was near Treasure Island I believe). Probably the thing to do would be to hire a taxi and ask them to take you to the closest In-N-Out.

Well, you could always eat at the food court in Fashion Show Mall. Or there is always that little food court in O'Shea's. I'm not a big fan of eating food court stuff while I'm in Vegas, mind you...there's just so many better places to eat at instead. And yeah, it depends on what you mean by cheap. You can often get discounts on the buffets in those little books that they have all over Vegas that give you a few bucks off your meals.

The restaurant in the Stardust hotel (assuming they haven't started tearing it down yet) is pretty cheap and there are coupons for it, usually. I forget what it's called....Paradise Island? Tropical Paradise? Some sort of tropical type theme...

There IS an In-n-Out Burger in Vegas and it is a MUST for anyone who has never had one. Hands down, the best fast food burger EVER.

Double-Double with grilled onions.

If I remember correctly, and it's been almost 15 years now, It is West of the strip accross from the RIO.

I went there...and wasn't overly impressed. I honestly didn't think it lived up to reputation at all.

As far as eating in Vegas, the buffets are great..yeah, they are pricey, but its Vegas.

There's one just beside the I-15 off of Tropicana, west of the New York - New York. You can see the huge sign from the Interstate.

For other So-Cal fast food "cuisine", there's a Fatburger on the Strip in the little mall beside the Wal-Greens, just north of the MGM-Grand. Of course, there's now a Fatburger in Calgary, so it's not that big of a deal.
