Cool Shuttle video..

Video from a camera on one of the SRBs. Follow the shuttle up and you can see it break the sound barrier as well as watch as the curve of the earth gets more visible. At about the 2:58 mark you can see the SRBs detach and watch the shuttle zoom away (very cool).

Then follow the loooong freefall down until the camera shows the SRB under water before being recovered.

I'll have to have a look when I get home.

I watched the launch as I was home all week last week, and it was pretty cool as they showed a few different angles taken from different cameras on the Shuttle and tank. A lot better than the animation we used to get after the Shuttle went over 50,000 feet.

Myself, I was waiting for one of the camers to get knocked off and have it take a chunk out of the orbiter. Wouldn't that have been ironic.
