Alternative PDF Reader/Writer

As the title says. What's out there? What is good? Looking for something other than Adobe's bloated Acrobat and Reader software

PDF995 works pretty good for creating PDFs.

ghostscript is pretty good too, It is used a lot at the UofA in the electrical engineering department.

A nice basic reader. Loads in seconds which is what I was looking for. Thanks

Still trying to find a good writer. PDF995 works but has crappy popup ads.

foxitsoftware.com has that too.

foxit and 995 are probably the best free writers out there.

Note that foxit does have a problem opening up pdf email attachments.

Explain to me why this is better. Is it just old news stored or what? Why do you want a a pdf file sent to you, or a signature?

this is the PDF creator that i use.. works great. It is added as a printer so you just change your printer to the PDFcreator and away you go.
