Default Can you feel the HEAT!?

Wow, I usually don't follow Basketball, always thought it was quite boring but I've been following the Heat since their series with the Pistons. Now they're on a roll after dropping the first two in Dallas. Game 5 was quite the thriller with Wade (what a performance!) making that Free Throw to win it in OT by 1 pt with 1.9 seconds left, the suspense was just killing me at the end there with Howard effin' up that timeout lol...

oh and on an unrelated note I now know Shaq couldn't make a free throw to save his life hahaha, and Nowitzki is indeed one ugly mofo

Dallas must be kicking themselves for blowing it in Game 3. The only positive from a Mavs Point of View is the fact that the final two games are in Dallas.

What can you say about Wade? Unbelievable player, unbelievable. That 2003 draft is ridiculous with James, Carmelo Anthony, Chris Bosh and Wade, wow.

Throughout these playoffs I have been simply astounded at the mental errors being made late in games when it comes to players calling timeouts when they should not and what not. How is it, in the dieing seconds of Game 5 of the NBA Finals...you do not check yourself to make sure you understand the situation and whether or not a timeout should be called.

WAKE UP!

I don't get it either, why would Howard call that timeout on his own? Shouldn't he wait for a coach to tell him to call it at that point in a game anyway?

That foul at the end was a terrible call, I don't know what the refs thought they saw.

He was listening to Chris Webber.

Ya last night was probably one of the best NBA games I have ever seen. Since hockey is over I have been filling my time with NBA and FIFA but really interesting...I find even if you don't know who to cheer for just pick a team and it gives you a little more interest in the games.

I also kinda like the way the NBA does their 7 game sereies.

Game 1 - Dallas
Game 2 - Dallas
Game 3 - Miami
Game 4 - Miami
Game 5 - Miami
Game 6 - Dallas
Game 7 - Dallas

Saves on travel!

I'm not willing to give Josh Howard any type of excuse for his timeout mishap, however, I will point out that the rosters on both teams have very little to no experience in big-time, meaningful games. ...and by that, I mean games in the Finals. Sure, you can play a 100 playoff games, all in the first round, but in the end, they don't mean #####. Conference Finals & championship Finals games are where they're at. Other than Shaq, there's no one in Miami. Dallas has Stack and Van Horn whom have played around 50-60 games, but they've all been with bottom-feeders. Even Darrel Armstrong only has 50 playoff games under his belt! Sure, the games have been exciting, but the calibre of play has been horrendous!

I don't get how Howard could have done that in that big of a situation. Crazy.

What a horrible way for that game to end just on the Wade foul alone. My god was that ever a phantom call
