Default Mavericks v. Heat GAME 6

I don't know about ya'll, but 1 of my wishes came true yesterday, in an otherwise dismal sports year for me. I have one last wish and it pretty much involves Zo not winning a championship. That starts tonight with Dallas keeping their cool and getting the job done.

I'm down with that. I think you should add VC to the wish list as well.

We don't really have to worry about Vince right now. They're already gone. ...and anyways, I really can't see New jersey making an NBA Finals for a loooooong-a$$ time. Especially since there's so many teams in the East on the come up; Cleveland, Washington, and whatever team Iverson goes to this summer.

Meh, I've got to disagree with you regarding AI, I think he is pretty overrated and way too much of a selfish player on the court.

He'd rather get his 30+ points and lose than get 15-20 and win.

Definetly too selfish when the he averaged 7 assists per game, Top 10 in the league and around 600 total, also in the Top 10. ...ahead of so-called, "pure point guards"; Mike Bibby, Gilbert Arenas, TJ Ford, Kirk Hinrich, Sam Cassell and Tony Parker. ...on a team with great, explosive scorers; Chris Webber in his downward slope and a aching body and the worst defender in the league, Andre Igoudala.

You're right Iverson is selfish.

Now... I don't want to ##### on Avery Johnson, but allowing 14 year-old, Devin Harris to play as much as he has, guarding The Glove and Jason Williams is ridiculous. I understand that they had a lead and it was only the first half, but this is an elimination game! Let JT Money handle the ball and give Stack (albeit his injury) some minutes!!

You're right Iverson is selfish.
So you're saying he is not selfish?

Just a quick aside, AI is ranked 19th overall for "assists per 48 minutes", he skews the stat you pointed out a little bit because he plays an absolutely insane amount of minutes per game.

Harris is definately playing too much - I like him though in the long run (as in later in his career), he has some really good quickness and some good moves to the basket. Just needs some more seasoning over the next couple seasons.

Very questionable call on Dirk for the foul on Wade...

After cheering for this team for the past 10 years, the dream has finally come true. No more choking against the Knicks, no more Jordan dominating the league, it's finally our time. Awesomeness!

"The Miami Heat are your World Champions" ....UGH! The statement sickens me. ...and it also sickens me that Zo has a ring. That's what every lottery pick should do too.... screw over 2 teams (Toronto and New Jersey, twice) and "diva-out" your last few years to join a contender. Put it this way, Patrick Ewing, Charles, Karl and Stockton, ....these guys all lost for one reason; Michael. They all played each other in their prime, when they were the dominant forces on their teams. Mourning was hitting that right around the same time and couldn't even make the playoffs. Now he's a, great role player weaseling his way into a championship ring. WACK!
