CPHL Rumors

Hello CPHLers,

First I'd like to introduce myself...sort of.

I am a long time follower of the league who has been fortunate to gain a number of contacts within the league – GMs, agents, former GMs and stuff like that.

I’ve decided to share some of my inside knowledge with all of you – things that I’m hearing about possible deals, new contracts, etc. Of course, in order to maintain my contacts I have to keep my identity hidden. I'm sure you understand.

Wow this is just like reading The National Enquirer with the latest news and gossip but only of the CPHL.....sign me up for a one year subscription

[Preds GM - CPHL]

Boston has made it widely known that Lidstrom is available. But we hear that Kevan Guy doesn't what to trade him to a rival conference team so look for him to head out west. Our prediction....Lidstrom ends up in Nasvhille for a deal involving Dan Boyle and other players.

Preds have not contacted Bruins regarding Lidstrom

Expect at least two significant RFAs to be given offer sheets during this off-season with very high salaries and possibly NTCs attached. We have heard specific names....but are not comfortable providing them here. Stay tuned...

hmm, Zetterberg wont be one of them or i hope haha

To answer a few quesitons.

- Some of what you read on the blog are rumors that I've heard and others (the Predators getting Lidstrom) are predictions. Sorry that wasn't clear....
- Becky...you must keep your cards pretty close to your vest because I haven't heard any rumors about your team. I will work my contact list though and see what I can dig up.
- I will post new blogs with new rumors as I hear them so expect to hear from me a lot!
- Expect to read a lot about the Panthers in my blog. They are always trading and when they are not trading they are talking about trading. You wouldn't believe some of the rumors about that organization...there are so many that I sometimes don't know which ones to trust.

Well, in fairness, it could be the total lack of planning and trading on a whim that is the real problem. Not a secretive GM keeping a poker face
