I like that show, he just tells people exactly what he thinks laced with a bunch of bad words, it's funny. Hell's Kitchen 2 starts tomorrow

Yeah, that show was kick ass!

This year apparently it is going to be males versus females... should be good!

Great show. If you can find it, the original BBC documentary that followed Ramsay around which I think is called 'Ramsay's Kitchen' is just fantastic.

It chronicles his attempt to get the highest rating a restaurant can get which is three Michelin stars. In one episode when the head of Michelin shows up for dinner unannounced, Ramsay's team makes a spot on dinner. After he leaves, one of the junior chefs overcooks the endives. Holy ****. Ramsay went ape#####. It was unreal. But the great part about it was that this was really Ramsay, it wasn't some hammed up reality show host.

Just watched the episode tonight about D-Place. Quite a change from the usual happy glib North American makeover shows - despite your best efforts, things still can go down the tubes.

I'm finding myself watching more and more of FoodTV - should I seek expert counselling?

It is a pretty good show. I enjoy quite a few of the shows the have on the Food Network.

There's one on now where Jamie Oliver travels around Italy learning from and cooking for the locals. The old Italian grannies are pretty funny because they always tell him he's doing it wrong. My girlfriend is Italian and does that to me all the time, so I tell her it must be in the Italian genes.

There used to be this one show where this English chef moved his family for the French countryside for a year -- all seven or eight kids that he had too. It was pretty entertaining as well.

me and my woman watch Food Network quite a bit, too. I think you are fine without the counselling. Lots of other stuff on tv is just junk anyways.

Except for Trading Spouses. How that gets continually snubbed at the Emmy's is beyond me.

did anyone see him go to town with the guy with long hair? Told him to go be a hairdresser! haha!

Man he just came off as a bully, plain and simple. He looked like he was going to tackle that Giacomo guy.

I laughed my ass off when he told a customer that he would find some pumpkin and shove it up his ass.

It all started when a guy (after eating over hald of his dish) complained that there wasn't any pumpkin in his Rissoto, he went up with the sever to talk to chef Ramsey. Ramsey asked the guy to sit down (or go away I can't remember), well the dumbass kept asking over and over "where is my pumpkin". Thats when Ramsey told him "I'll get your pumpkin and shove it up your ass". I laughed for a good ten minutes after that

Ramsy's kitchen nightmares is a fantastic show, I love it. Throw any overweight male in front of Ramsey and he calls them big boy, hilarious. My favourite scene was were the English "chef" got into a little spat with Ramsey and he just grunted at him then they called each other tarts.. English slang..

Caught a bit of Hell's Kitchen last night.. the pumpkin part was too funny. It's clear that short girl who is a sous chef in real life is going to win though.

Ramsay can be thought of as a bully. but at the end I think its because he cares. He has high standards and expects those that work for him to have the same. if coddled I dont think they would learn as effectivly. course it also makes for good Tv.

Agreed the Short Sous Chef is the early Favorite. Team player and best one on that team.

I think he's a jerk because it sells, and because he cares a lot about the business. You can see him lighten up a lot as the season goes on and he begins to 'like' the participants. By the end of the last season he was a *****cat.
