Ok, so whats with this red bull stuff...is it any good? Is it just super concentrated caffeine? I have heard that alot of people use is as a mixer for vodka.....All I know is that you can get this stuff everywhere, I've seen it in Dubai, Bangkok, Frankfurt.....seeing as how prevalanet it is getting, it must be good......have I been missing out? Sometime a strong cup of coffee gives me the jitters, what can a person expect from a can of Red Bull???

I've had it, and to tell you the truth, I get a bigger buzz from coffee (although im not a coffee drinker). The taste isn't anything to write home about either IMO.

I have mixed it with Vodka and that is a pretty good mix when you throw some cherries in. I have also had it without and it was all right. Nothing spectacular, really only provided a brief little boost.

I believe the company describes the taste as burnt gummibears. I'd say they work, when you have 24 of them between 3 people on a 20 hour road trip to vegas with only 1 hour of sleep.

Way too much sugar for me. And don't drink any before you work out. It will give you gut-rot.

And I also agree with the person who said they get a bigger jolt from coffee.

Red bulls good with vodka,
Great with jag
They do work somewhat, it's a different buzz than coffee though, since they contain taurine... (mmm bulls testicles)

Try it. If you like it, cool, if not, fine. I have had it on a few occasions, never with vodka though.
It is extremely sweet. Probably some of the sweetest stuff I have ever had.

It took forever for red bull to get to canada... i remember reading about red bull sponsored snowboard contests in sweden and norway back in 94.

An energy drink that gives you a high, then leaves you feeling lower then an Oiler fan after Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals.

Yup. I use it before I play soccer. I get a pretty big buzz of it but I crash in the second half.

Straight up. Pretty gross, too sweet.

With Vodka, the stuff is god's nectar on a bender week of partying. Second night of drinking? Beer making you bloated? Tired from dinner? Pump a few vodka redbulls (max 2 cans) in you, and you are ready to go!!

Hmm, I tried a bit of Red Bull here, and thought it tasted like a sweeter version of Tahiti Treat (anyone remember that one??)

Then I tried it in the States, and it tasted like salty pop. Very odd stuff . Almost like carbonated, extra sweetened Gatorade or something...

Exactly. Which is why I can't understand why certain hockey players would drink it before a game. During a HNIC broadcast in the regular season, they showed live footage of a Ottawa player drinking from a can of red bull.

The redbull in canada, united states, england are all toned down (plus they are carbonated)... Now the real red bull in Thailand is some potent stuff (looks like a medicine bottle). You have one and your buzzing for hours. but don't make the mistake of having too many, either you will black out or have a heart attack.

Yeah that's the good stuff! I don't like this carbonated crap... the medicine bottle stuff is amazing, almost gets you high... you can still buy it at a lot of Chinese supermarkets

You'd have to be on crack to pay $2.50 for a micro can of anything. Ridiculous what marketing can do.
