Anders the (alleged) Thief!
Why is no one talking about Rob Anders, and the lawsuit laid against him by his former office manager?
It seems as though our good friend has been (allegedly) stealing from the Govt with fake travel/expense reports, and was even (allegedly) giving out furniture from the constituancy office as repayment for personal loans.
The guy is an (alleged) crook, and should have been tossed YEARS ago!

(MOD NOTE - I adjusted your post to include "alleged").

OMG, the blatant right wing media bias in this city is disgusting, burying this on page 6. If it was a Liberal, this would be on the front page!!!

I saw this yesterday, but wondered if a bitter ex-employee may have his own agenda.
I think Anders should have been booted long ago. But in this case I'll wait for an investigation before making any judgements.

Anders is a complete disgrace. Calgary needs to pry their lips off of the Conservatives' asses and boot this guy out of office.

He wasn't missing. He was just really busy driving all over Scenic Acres & Silver Springs replacing all the Vote Anders signs that had Hitler moustaches drawn on his face.

I love that Sun headline: "Anders Accused of False Claims". I doubt it was their intent (mostly b/c it's about 10 steps too clever for the Sun), but it makes it sound like Anders is innocent and the lawsuit claims are false.

I found it funny that the artical "Homer boast Dr. Phil" was a bigger artical.

I took it as false travel/expense claims.

He should have been booted long ago. Just goes to show your that they could run a fire hydrant in Calgary West, and it would win.

I really don't think it would matter. I think alot of the people in that area(my relatives included) know that he is pathetic but they will still vote for him because he is Conservative. If he was running in the beltline or Kensington though it might be a challenge for him to win.

I actually don't even know why the Conservatives spend money on campaigning in Calgary.

I am not talking about the electorate. The Tory riding association holds annual conventions and they vote to see if the local member for that riding has the support of the riding executive. They can vote to replace him if they want.
