Default Doggie Daycare

Does anyone have any good Doggie Daycares they can recommend me? I have a 1 year old Golden Retriever.

Depends where you live I think? "Especially for Pets" on 16th Ave North is good - we bring our dogs there a lot. But I wouldn't be driving half-way across the city specifically to go there or anything.

If you are in N. Calgary, I recommend Pawsitively Pooched. My dog was a rescue pup, major issues with with socialization when we got him. He was 9 mths., now 4 years , still dominant but very controllable. He is Border Collie + Heeler.

Superdog Spectrum on the corner of Glenmore and Blackfoot (right by West Island College) is excellent. Four different rooms for four different styles of dogs, rest time, play time, pee time. They come home tired. $23 a day from 7am - 7pm or anytime between.

Im in the NE, and she has not yet been spayed. ( I just got her and Im going away for a week and I really want her to be well taken care of). I can afford $200-$250 for the week

Thanks for your suggestions, I REALLY appreciate it

There's a place called Dogaholics in the NE, off McKnight. Same price, around $25 a day or so. I'd call around and make sure they know that she's not fixed yet. Some won't take them at all, others will just make sure that she'll be in with only fixed dogs, it depends.

This place also boards dogs as well (Superdogs is daytime only). They might ask that you do a trial night before going away for a week though.

I don't think my suggestion (Especially for Pets) takes dogs that are not fixed, sorry. Also it's only a daycare so you need to pick your dog up everyday.

If you're going away for a week are you looking for kenneling/boarding? We've gone to the "Country Club Pet Resort" just south of the city and we were happy with them. The dogs get a lot of exercise and outside time. They book up fast and again, I'm not sure what their rules might be with fixed vs. not-fixed animals.
