Go Suns
Anyone catch Game 6 of Suns-Lakers last night? Boy what a game by Steve Nash. On the road, with Raja Bell suspended, in overtime, and the Suns somehow managed to pull it out.
Had to start watching this after the hockey exit on Wednesday, but it has been a great series.

Tremendous effort by the Suns. Look for them to run away with it tomorrow night. The Suns have been my team for the past 15+ years. It's good to be able to transition into this series after the Flames disappointment.

This game is crazy! Suns are rocking them. I have a been a Steve Nash fan for awhile and I say this is one of his best playoffs ever.

The Suns played an awsome game tonight..what a comeback. Leandro Barbosa is such a great player, I'll be watchign out for him. Too bad Nash had that ankle injury..hopefully its better by monday.

Devastating! Nice win. I was watching on the Score and the announcer after the game said it was just like the Flames and Ducks game 7, someone forgot to tell the Lakers to show up. Ouch!
Good to see Nash play on thru the injury. The Suns are the only team I want to see win the NBA championship. I am a Suns bandwagoner for sure.
I lived in Victoria while going to Uni and got to meet Steve's brother on several occasions (great Soccer Player). I got to meet Steve on the rooftop of the stickywicket once (it's a bar not a gay joke) anyway total down to earth typical Canadian hockey player type who happens to be the best B-Baller in the world!!!

Here's some useless trivia for you all.
Steve Nash is a fan of Tottenham Hotspurs of the English Premier League (because his dad is a native of Tottenham).
Paul Stalteri is a great Canadian soccer player who currently plays for...you guessed it: Tottenham.
Stalteri is the first Canadian to ever play in the German Bundesliga, the first Canadian to score a goal in Bundesliga, and the first Canadian to ever win the Bundesliga. He's like (but not quite) the Canadian soccer equivalent of Steve Nash.

Suns/Clippers series has been awsome so far.
Poor Vince, he couldn't even get the ball to miss the game winning shot this time. There's never gonna be a ring on that finger

Another great game tonight (game 5). Bell hits the clutch 3 to tie it up, and the Suns come back to take it. I was worried after they gave up that 19 pt lead in the 3rd, but they did it even with Nash not having a great game. I would love to see a Phoenix-Dallas conference final.
Honestly I have been more into the NBA playoffs this year than NHL, the Suns are my 2nd team after the Nucks.

Great shot by Bell for the tie and the end of the 1st OT. Why he wasn't fouled as soon as he got the ball, I don't know. The Clippers should have fouled somebody as the ball was being put inbounds, perhaps even before the pass. Mental error. There were a few last night, both ways. Have you ever seen an 8 second half-court violation in a situation like that before?

^^^The mental errors were brutal. I'd never seen an 8 second violation like that before but the mental blunders reminded me of Chris Webber trying to call time out - when he didn't have any to call.
I understand the pressure of these moments but geez louise - you gotta know these details. How many timeouts, how much on the clock, etc.

Great comeback late for the Suns as they take Game 1 of the Western finals 121-118.
Diaw hits the big shot late, finishes with 34.
Nash with a nice game......27 points, 16 assists.
Shapes up to be a great series.

Huge shot by Diaw. I'm quickly becoming a huge fan of his.
And what can you say about Nash? Another ho-hum game. Unbelievable player.
This is going to be a great series I reckon. Two evenly matched teams that play uptempo ball.
On another note, can you imagine this Phoenix Team with Amare and Thomas in the lineup. Wow.

Thomas could be back soon. Not sure he is up to keeping up with the pace but we could use 6 extra fouls to give on Dirk. Let's hope Bell is OK for game 2 or at least game 3.

I hope Nash can continue to light up his former team and make it into the finals. Steve Nash has been a great player throughout his career but a championship or two would make him a legend.
