Default Non-smoking bars

Sort of a peel-off of the other thread. Just a place where people can list the names of bars where smoking is not allowed. I'll list some off the top of my head.

Brewster's in Eau Claire
Joey Tomato's
Ship & Anchor has a non-smoking section if that counts
Limerick's

Read the other thread - too long for some of us. I'd prefer to have more options than "wait 18 more months" or "drive to Edmonton (or just about anyplace else in Canada, for that matter)"

I dont like them banning smoking in ALL bars, IMO there should be as many smoking bars as there are non-smoking now. And this is coming from a guy who smokes once in a blue moon and not even cigarettes.

Dixons, Killkenny, and Seanachie (all related to Limerick's) also have Non-smoking sections.

Earls, Cactus club, and most lounges in restaurants are likely to be non smoking. (If they allow smoking they either have to have a completely air seperated room, or cannot allow anyone under 18 into the restaurant.)

The only way I can see smoking be allowed in a place of drink is in the following circumstances:

a) There is an air-sealed and dedicated smoking room. This room should be no greater than 1/3 size of the regular, non-smoking, section.

b) There is an off-street patio or balcony where people can smoke.

c) The entire establishment is a specialized smoking club, and cannot serve food, have a dance floor, or provide live entertainment.

Other than this, we will end up with what we have now. Less than 25% of the people are smoking, but 99% of the bars allow it so as not to lose business.
