maybe the bear was trying to gain the monkey's power of fence-touching?

In the incident Sunday at the Beekse Bergen Safari Park, several Sloth bears chased the Barbary macaque into an electric fence, where it was stunned.

Not too many electric fences out there in the wild..not too fair for the monkey
