Yikes. Watched 30-35 mins of it or so. Some intense stuff, scenes of the WTC coming down always get me. I think the filmmaker used some of the same techniques that are complained about. Manipulation of data and media. I find it hard to believe that the US government, or covert aspects within it would deliberately kill that many of their own citizens to further policy and agenda. However, I am open to hear what the conspiracy theorists have to say and so find value in this film. I think if what this film says is true then it is truly terrifying. But is it possible for such a massive conspiracy and fraud to be perpetrated with no leak, no whistle blower? I doubt it.
There is a part in the film where another filmmaker says he had a call from a Rockefeller in which he was warned of the 9/11 attacks and that they were all part of a scheme to lead the US to invade Iraq, Afghanistan, and deal with Chavez in Venezuela. Not sure why Rockefeller, if involved in this Byzantine plotting, would speak of it over the phone to a filmaker. The anti Bush side has so many resources and are fueled with impressive passion; why do we not see more compelling proof of a 9/11 conspiracy.
As a final note, I will watch it all another day. If there are those of you out there that are conspiracy buffs, have at her. It's got everything from the "myth of christ" and origins of Christianity through to Bush/Cheney Hitler comparisons. Included there are the Lusitania sinking, US provoking Pearl harbour, Vietnam being an intentionally losing but sustaining war to benefit the mega corporations, Kennedy murder, to all the current day conflicts in the war on terror, and microchip control of the population. I was expecting to see a scruffy Gene Hackman meeting a crazy Mel Gibson in an abandoned warehouse somewhere.
Had to throw in a little humour as it is Friday of the Canada Day long weekend, and this is depressing viewing!
