I heard it doesn't suffer from the problems the PC version is having.

Yes, my main gripe with the PC version is the agression and hitting... from what i've heard it's not like that on the consoles, or the XBox at least.

I was really suprised to see all the hitting on the PC version, because I definetely didn't see it when I was in Vancouver.

Yup its out today....i got it for the Cube, there is still alot of hitting but not as much as the PC version, and you can tell the game was made for console sooooo much easier to control the players, and get through the menus, and no ridiculous bugs like the EA Sports thing blocking the menu buttons...Console Version is way better then PC

I bought it today for PS2 and played it more times than I played 2004 all of last year. This game quite simply kicks arse. It isn't perfect but if it was they probably wouldn't sell any copies of next years game. So far I give it an 8.5 out of ten. I haven't delved in to the gm mode yet but I played some 1 on 1 with my buddies and we all agreed it is the best NHL game since the Sega Genesis days. The scoring is too easy on easy and the hits are out of control so I strongly suggest taking a look at the sliders and adjusting to your enjoyment. We found the right balance and games are fast paced, heavy hitting and close. Great game.
