For the first time since taking over the club, Blues GM has copleted his first trade.
"I would like to deal more, but i kept getting garbage proposals, with other GM's wanting to rape the rookie. In the last little while, the proposals have gotten more serious, and this deal could have a snowball effect."
The BLues have acquired highly touted prospect Kyle Wanvig from the NJ Devils for a 3rd and 4th round picks.
"Kyle has NHL size, strength and a prototypical north-south game from the wing position, and also displays the untapped potential of a power forward. "
The Blues were ranked 29th in the latest edition of the Future Watch, and its the one area the management needs to address. Reports indicate another highly touted prospect could be sporting a Blues uniform by the weekend.
IN OTHER NEWS: The Blues are reportedly looking for a 2nd line winger and reports indicate that Petr Cejanek, Patrick Stefan or one of their top D could be on their way out.
