It'll be interesting to see how the former F1 drivers do in Nascar.

wonder what kind of "I don't have the fastest car" excuses Jacques will have this time when he isn't successful.

In fairness, his car was an absolute piece of trash when he went to BAR.

I think he only managed to finish 1 race in his first year at the team because of mechanical problems.

I think those that give him a hard time are pretty clueless. What car you are driving in F1 is the WHOLE story. Fart they have been working for years to actually put more driving skill back into the forumla.

He is an aggressive driver and you know that will come in handy when he drives in NASCAR. Plus he is on a good team. NASCAR keeps getting better and better -- Very well run organization. I watch it way more than I used to and enjoy it. Now if the two open wheeled orgs would just merge we would have plenty of non F1 entertainment.

Well, at least Montoya will have one other guy as a drafting partner.

Then again, Montoya could race a shopping cart with a bum wheel and still win. That plus Chip Ganassi's mojo at least gives him a fighting chance. JV? Sorry to say but I think his time in the spotlight has passed.

Sigh... I miss the old CART days. Sworn never to watch an IRL race - FU Tony George.

Montoya finished a respectable 3rd in his Remax ARCA debut last night. Led the first 9 laps crashed fell back to 31st and worked his way back.

he actually looked pretty good out there. there is no doubt the kid can drive
