I am starting to really feel guilty about supporting this mission when I am not there, risking my life along with these men...

you shouldn't feel guilty about supporting the mission and not being there. One of the toughest jobs is being a soldier in a war zone, these people accepted that and went over there, you should be proud of them and all of the boys over there.

Its terrible that these deaths are happening, but this is probably the spring offensive that they've been preparing for, and that the Taliban has been warning everyone about. The roadside bombs are getting progressively bigger due to the earlier successes of the LAV III and the G wagons ability to survive earlier attacks, and the deployment of heavy armor and tanks into the area. If there's one additional area that Ottawa really needs to invest in its in the field of mine detection and removal.

I feel terrible for the families of these kids, and my condolences go to thier families and thier comrades.

mcuh respect to those men and women over there fighting so we can maintain our freedom over here, I'm able to watch hockey tonight because those guys are willing to put it on the line to preserve our culture.

also, big ups to the CBC for always "supporting our troops" say what you will about Cherry but that's the one thing he's always been great for.

Thank you for risking your lives so I can have mine.

That's a bit over the top isn't it?

Everyone supports the troops who put their lives on the line for Canada, but let's be honest, they're not fighting to ensure you can watch hockey!
