Has anyone ever been on the S.W.A.P (Student Work Abroad Program)? I'm considering it for next summer.

I want to do some traveling alone, but as a girl it can be a bit sketchy at times.

If anyone has done S.W.A.P. can you please give me some feedback?!

Or if there is any other good programs I can do?

My girlfriend is on it right now... and she has said they are great for getting things done in Calgary or in Canada, but once you get over there they are useless. So I would suggest that unless you need help getting visas and passports, plane tickets and what not, don't bother, she thought it was complete waste of money. I wouldn't recommend it neither would she and talking to others and explaining her feelings they have heard the same from others.
