Playoff Beards
Anyone else out there growing a playoff beard. Mine will probably be more like playoff patches but it's the thought that counts.

I dont know if I will do mine again. It was pretty out of control last time. If I do I think I will at least shave my neck this time around.
Yikes!

I'm waiting until the day that the Playoffs start before I start growing mine, and then I plan on growing a Lanny.

Not sure. I'm still at a full beard, which I haven't shaved off (though I've trimmed it regularly) since the last playoffs. So technically, I suppose I should shave it off before the playoffs start, and then begin fresh. Likely though, I'll just give it a good trim after the last game of the regular season, and then let it go.

Unfortunately my work doesn't really "allow" me to grow a beard but I do go for the playoff hair. As a guy thinning on top it really looks like sh*t but it's playoffs baby!! haha

I can grow some serious neck hair and little whiskers above my lip, its freaking sad, I know. In 04, I was just about to get a hair cut before the playoffs started as it had already been 3 months, so I decided since I cant grow a beard, I might as well, grow a fro. I did this and went 6 months without a hair cut which is quite a long time for me as I have really thick and curly hair, so when it dried, it would just go into a big fro, it was massive, had to walk thru doors sideways. I might have embelished that a little.

That sounds a bit like me. We're hair twins. My hair's already forming a 'fro. It's been 3 months ... much longer and my hair will become its own ecosystem.

I seriously think we should all go in together and form a playoff beard club. It'll be FUN.

Lets have a contest with pictures. I automatically get first prize, but the rest of you can battle for second.

I'll trim my goatee and let it grow for the playoffs. Here's hoping I can emulate Jim Neidhart's goatee!

As a girl, I feel a little left out.
Hmm, maybe I won't shave my legs...

My "beard" was so gross in '04. Maybe I'll just do the goatee thing. We'll see.
It just gets so itchy. Real pain in the ass.

On behalf of your boyfriend/husband or any future male companion I'm gonna say that is not necessary
As for my playoff beard.. i will probably just keep a little on my chin or something. I get really itchy with a beard and its a pain. Plus the girlfriend hates it so I won't be getting any either.. and thats just not cool.

I had a beard for the 04's, of course, I had been growing it since september, so it hardly counts
I might be looking for work during the playoffs, so going to an interview with 2 weeks growth probably isn't the smartest idea...
