Flames 3 Wild 2
Flames finally woke up in the second game of the second round of the playoffs. A spirited affair resulting in a win for the good guys.
"Panic" Yannick Tremblay opened the scoring with his first of the playoffs. Tremblay picked up the pass as he was pinching in from the point and roofed a shot passed the screened Curtis Joseph.
Teemu Selanne also found the net for the first time in the playoffs taking a feed from Murray and sliding it between Cujo's legs.
The PP was working at a good clip this game, going 2 for 5 and it eventually also tallied the game winning goal as Richard Zednick took a one timer and beat the sprawled out Wild goaltender.
This evens the series at 1 game a piece heading back to the Excel Energy Centre in Minnesota.
