That's going to be one messed-up looking kid.

He could be the next Bond villain.

Soccer moms everywhere just had visions of their vans becoming street racers.

LOL the kid can get a movie deal.
Talk to Mel Gibson, star in "The Man With No Face Part 2"

I know I shouldn't laugh, but sounds like the kids were absolute morons, and are lucky to be alive.

The kid can play Skeletor for the new He-Man movie - no makeup/CGI required!

Artists' rendition of the successful surgery:

He's still alive?!

Being pinned beneath a van doing 190km/h sounds like sure death.

I hope they go pull the security tapes from that liquor store and see if they sold the kids the alchohol they were drinking.

That is a pretty unusual amount of detail for such a grizzly event.

They probably just got a boot outside the liquor store.

Yikes that description is more than I care to know.

Kids need to understand that a minivan isn't a racing car. A couple years ago I was driving south on Canyon Meadows near Elbow and this minivan came screaming around the corner in the opposite lane as me. It was late at night and I looked in my rear view mirror to see the tail lights not follow the turn and bounce up and down. So I pull a U-turn to see what happened. I could see the tires tracks of the van go over the curb and through a small tree. Following that there was a four door car totally smashed into and turned at an angle. About 20 meters to the left the van was smashed into a fence. Two guys where standing out side of the van which was smashed in hard on the front and the back. I asked them if they were okay, and one of them replied that they were fine and they had called the police. The other guy was looking around nervously at the ground and had a very worried look on his face one that you would get after you had just totalled your moms minivan. So I drove away shaking my head at this kids stupidity as the fire truck drove past me towards them.

Indeed, Honda Odyssey with 9 passengers nearly hit 200km/h! Amazing.

Usually if they are this detailed, they are trying to use it as an example of why you should not race and/or speed. It's a big problem up here with young kids.

edit: left out the 'not' in should not. Kind of helps.

That is pretty detailed, but as BA101 pointed out, it could help drive the point home for some stupid youth.
Good thing they didn't hit anyone else.
