yes it is a shame she never got to stand on the top of the podium and hear O Canada. But did she not get a second ceremony when she arrived back home? i am not even canadian and i know her by name and looks and really liked what she did for her sport. She was a fantastic athlete, a great role model and a genuine nice person. I wish her all the best in whatever she decides to do next. Hint: come and train British XC skiers :P
