TORONTO (CP) - The heart of Toronto's trendy Yorkville shopping district was shocked to a standstill Sunday after an explosion killed one man at a Tim Horton's outlet. Police would not confirm early reports that a man had entered the washroom shortly before the blast with explosives strapped to his body.

Terrible news...I'm hoping those reports are confirmed as false.

Police have ruled out terrorism as the cause of an explosion that ripped through a Tim Hortons doughnut shop in the trendy Yorkville area of downtown Toronto Sunday, killing one man. Toronto police Staff Sgt. Don Cole told reporters Sunday evening that the victim was likely an arsonist or a potential suicide.

It's not a terrorist.

Some guy walked into the washroom with a gas cannister. It was leaking fumes, ended up blowing up while he was in a stall.

Either he was planning to arson the store or he wanted to commit suicide in a very painful manner.
