Bouldering, golfing, finishing my basement, working . . . in that order.
The following summer I'll hopefully be off to Italy for a conference and make a month long vacation out of it.

Hopefully I'll be watching Flames games until early June.
This year I don't have anything exciting planned. Last year I took time off for the birth of my son. The previous year I went to Hawaii. The year before that we went camping every weekend. The year before that I was job hunting and camping. The year before that I got married.
I've had something going on every year for quite some time but this year I'll probably just take time off and play with my son, not that it isn't exciting, I just don't have anything planned.

well, unfortunatly being in the underground irrigation industry I am waaaayyy to busy to do anything Major in the summer (the winter is another story however)
That and the fact I am getting married in early September and my pennies are all going into the jar for the wedding, leaves me with NIL on the radar.
Occassional ball Tourny on weekends and some golf along with beer consumption and that's all me gets

Well, I will be graduating so I have to first figure out whether I want to continue living in Ottawa or move, then I will have to find a full time job. Then, who knows? Though it might be kind of nice to be able to travel for a bit.

Going on a fly in fishing trip to Northern Alberta.
If anyone here likes fishing I highly reccomend doing this at least once in your life. I posted about it a while ago but it really is an amazing trip.
They take you up north of Lake Athabasca, drop you off at this cabin on a secluded lake with all of your food, supplies, beer and anything else you need. Then say see you in 5 days and leave you alone in total solitude. You have the lake all to yourselves and don't see any humans for 5 days. (They do give you a satellite phone in case of emergency) The cabins aren't exactly 5 star hotels, but they supply nice boats, Bar B Q's, and an awesome environment to spend 5 days in.
The fishing is awesome and for a chilling out vacation is just doesn't get much better.

Was supposed to spend 6 weeks in Thailand, but plans fell through. Still hoping to do some travelling though.

I work full time, so I have no plans. This is the first year I've been granted paid vacation, although I am not going anywhere...at least not this summer. Maybe in the beginning of October I will go somewhere warm to keep the tan for an extra few weeks.

I am going on a German exchange in Stuttgart, Germany in May and June. I am going to catch a World Cup of Soccer game hopefully! I got my fingers crossed. Then after that I got accepted into the University de Montreal for the Explore program this summer. So I will be in Montreal for 6 weeks learning French. Has anyone done that before?

Dude that sucks! No way to just go though? The first time i went (3 months) i was with a bunch of people but the second time i went (I just got back 2 months ago, was there for 4 months) i went by myself and i had a BLAST! It was awesome... so if it is just a matter of the other person not being able to go - screw it and go yourself!

thanks for the encouragement I know what to expect, have been getting tips from my co-workers, so it should be about the same as death, or just a little bit better.

TOTF- I have a friend who did the Stuttgart thing, and I attended the bursary program at the UdeM. You are going to have a blast this summer! Can you take me with you? I love Montreal... let me know if you have any questions about the city, the uni, or the exchange program itself. (I still have maps, itineraries, textbooks, etc from when I was there).
My summer plans include: a 1 week vacation with friends, working full-time, volunteering, studying. It's going to be a busy one.
