Default Anyone catch Good Eats last night on the Food Network?

The guy who hosts it was making Gyro's/Donairs and I only caught the tail end of it.

I'd be nice to catch the episode agian, or find the recipe.. damn it looked tasty.

Yeah, I guess I should have done a search, but damn it looked tasty.

Just an edit.. looks liek it isn't on that site. I guess the Canadian food network site isn't allowed to run the recipe on their site. Odd.

Here it is from the American one.

That show is fantastic. I have never been one to actualy sit down and watch a cooking show but this guy knows his stuff for sure. Good info in each episode.

And I was right all along! You DON"T rinse pasta after cooking it.

I have used many recipes from the Contessa. Her Christmas recipes are fantastic.
My wife likes to watch Chef at Large....but we are mostly food addicts anyways and will watch just to salivate.

Both are good shows, and yeah any food show is good. The one I try to avoid is Barefoot Conessa.. what a fat pretentious annoying bitch.

The best show was A Cook's Tour.. now though... Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares.. my lord what an amazing hour of television.

Love her or hate her, Racheal Ray has some pretty decent (read: tasty and easy to make) recipes on her show. I don't mind her as much as some but her enthusiasm for garbanza beans is sickening...

I have to change the channel if she's on. She drives me insane.

The other guy I don't like is that guy with the beard. I don't recall his name, I think it may be Smith or something. He talks really slowly as if everyone watching is an idiot.

Everyone else I'm okay with. Just those two drive me nuts.

So do I. She must have one of the largest heads in the world but she's still hot. That cooking she does is too complicated for me though. Too toopid I guess.

Does she really cook? All i've seen her do is open up some cans, warm it up and serve.

HOW HARD IS THAT!!!!!!!!!

EVOO. Extra virgin olive oil.

She says it every time which totally defeats the purpose of the initials.

And as for the Barefoot Contessa, her name is really odd. "Hello, I'm Ina Garten". Well no actually lady, you're in a kitchen!

My favourite cooking show is Licensed to Grill with Rob Rainford. He makes REALLY good food. No nonsense mouth watering barbecue stuff. Yum.

That guy is awesome. He has the exact BBQ setup that I'll have in my backyard... in 20 years
