Default No charges anger man shot by cop

This is quite a story

http://calsun.canoe.ca/News/Alberta/...93836-sun.html

Tony Fehr, 24, said he was drunk and out-of-control after fighting with his wife and had just cut off his ring finger with a samurai sword when he was shot by a police officer on April 15.
"I don't think it's right someone can shoot someone five times and get away with it," he said.
"I was drunk and I had kind of lost control but they could have handled it totally differently."

and then later on the quote of the year.

"After I cut off my finger I don't remember much until I was pepper-sprayed and that totally woke me up."

I really have nothing to add, but I thought this was news that all Calgarians should be aware of.

I really want to formulate a high-five joke, but this guy doesn't deserve my energy.

Is it ever YOUR fault? Who are these people that can run around with swords and then gripe about cops that shot them?

Good thing he's not sudanese or else there'd be another inquiry.

You know it always amazes me that people have such a high capacity for being stupid and blaming this on others. He had a sword, he is ordered to drop it refuses to and gets double tapped.

Then the cop again orders him to drop it, he's carrying this sword in a threatening manner and is cleary out of his fricken mind. Cop double taps him again.

Still continues to threaten the police takes a 5th bullet and goes down.

Now either the cop was a bad shot or he disobeyed procedure because the police are supposed to shoot to kill in these kind of circumstances, and with a pistol you never aim for an arm or leg because pistols are inaccurate over 20 feet, you aim for the Q ring center mass and put the target down.

So maybe this guy should be grateful that he's still walking and able to sue.

The judge should laugh in this guys face and tell him to grow the frick up.

What an idiot.

Talk about stupid ... he chooses to look at it as, "I got shot five times and lived" rather than, "Am I ever lucky that cop didn't kill me when he really should have".

Kudos to the cops, they don't get enough respect for the crap they have to put up with.
