Default Good place/website to sell a used vehicle

Anyone have any recomendations on selling a used vehicle, I want to try and see what I can get from a private sale first before I take it to a dealer to see what I could get as a trade-in?

Websites/newsprint etc.

Thanks

When I sold my car 3 or 4 years ago I used GlobeAuto.com. At the time it was free - don't know if it still is.

How about the Auto Trader? They have a website as well. I'll see if I can find it again.

www.autotrader.ca

That will get you autotrader. If you call them you get in their printed version as well as on the net. I think it cost me like $58 3 years ago.

Autotrader worked for me, pretty good exposure. Don't get sucked in by the "park your car on our lot" type deals.

www.buysell.com is not bad. Although I am having a tough time unloading my old sled

A 1990 Maxima 5-speed with 309k...all highway ;-) $2k takes it.
