Jets add a couple more vets
Jets GM Walsh has been busy the past 24 hours as he continues to make some minor deals to improve the depth of the Jets as they fight towards a playoff spot.
Last night Walsh picked up Jonas Hoglund from the Devils for a 4th round pick, and this morning the Jets have acquired Bates Battaglia and cash for a 3rd round pick.
We needed a couple of extra bodies as we head through the stretch drive. We are happy to have Jonas and Bates here as it will allow the kids to stay down in the AHL and get some quality playing time down there. Thanks to both the Devils and Leafs for the smooth trade talks.
