Getting nasty in the Martha Stewart versus Donald Trump Battle Of The Apprentices as Trump delivers a letter yesterday to Stewart, responding to her earlier complaints about Trump.

Trump's response in his letter bluntly asks Stewart to take responsibility for her “failed show.”

“Your performance was terrible in that the show lacked mood, temperament and just about everything a show needs for success,” he wrote. “I knew it would fail as soon as I first saw it — and your low ratings bore me out.”

Ouch.

“Between your daughter, with her one-word statements, your letter writing and, most importantly, your totally unconvincing demeanour, it never had a chance — much as your daytime show is not exactly setting records,” he wrote.

Then he really told her what he thought.

“Essentially, you made this firing up just as you made up your sell order of ImClone,” said Trump, who claimed NBC did not intend to fire him on Stewart's show.

Wouldn't the mood and temperament be the responsibility of Mark Burnett?

And didn't Trump say the show was going to be a big hit just before it aired?

I think he's just blathering on because he needs attention for his new season since ratings were down with his last group and its been moved to a new night.

I was at a Real Estate confernce down in Dallas this weekend and Trump was a guest speaker.

It was pretty funny to hear him trash Martha Stewart and her show. A lot of the same things that were said in the letter he was saying at the conference. I was pretty shocked at the whole thing but it was funny as hell. When Burnett first brought him the idea he claimed he didn't like it and said it wouldn't fly. However he went along with it and tried to be a "team" player and help her promote it as much as possible. He was ****ed because he was going all over the country on talk shows and really pumping Martha's show. Then when someone interviewed Martha to find out what she thought of the original Apprentice she said she had never even watched it. His reaction and recount of all the incidents was hilarious. I don't think Donald cares if him and Martha are friends anymore....

Trump is actually a really funny guy. That role they get him to play on the Apprentice isn't the same way he acts in real life from what I saw. Great speaker, really funny, and obviously very good at what he does.
