Hey CP faithful,
I need to buy a powder blue or pink suit (don't ask why, just accept that the hilarity is worth it).

So if any of you know of any place in town that would sell something like that (Think dumb and dumber suit), please let me know.

Try the Salvation Army or Interfaith thrift stores (yellow pages under Clothes-Second Hand.) There is also a place around 34th Ave and 30th Street NE... can't remember what it is called, but they have lots of second hand stuff. (Got some Halloween stuff there quite cheap.)

Oddly enough, I have one. I don't know if you're the same size as me (I'm short), but you'd be welcome to borrow it. Just know that it's a family heirloom. Picture from Hallowe'en 2004:

Yeah check out the thrift stores all over town. I've seen stuff like that a few times but it's really luck of the draw in a thrift shop.

Or check out Blue Light Special on 17th and Divine Decadence across the street. They scour the donated clothes and take whatever is cool and sell it in their store and a blue or pink suit would definitely be something they'd sell if they came across it.

Get Cam to talk to Phil...the younger Sh-weed (Cam spelling) wore a bright orange one for grad...his buddy had the powderblue doozy. I've got pics if you want to see them.

It was Value Village I was thinking of in the NE there BBS.

As suggested, you can also rent one (if you plan on keeping it in one piece.) The Costume Shoppe in Inglewood might have something like that.

There is a vintage/retro shop at the corner of 58th S and ahhh, center street? the T intesection where Value Village is. I havent been in there but I drove by it the other day.

I was gonna check out the Village and some other thrift stores, but you never know if you're gonna find what your looking for.

I'll try the blue light special and thanks Cole, I'll get a hold of Phil and ask him.

Unfortunatly renting probalby isn't a great option, cause there's a pretty good chance the suit won't be in great shape at the end of the night.

No way to get it to you in time, I am in Montana. But one of the guys I work with brought 3 buddies to our Christmas party and one of them wore a powder blue suit, one an orange, one pink and one tan. Interesting to say the least. LOL Apparently one of the guys Dad makes the suits and sells them.

If I can't track one down for this weekend I might still want one for future use. I'll get a hold of you if I decide I want to get a hold of one later on.

You should try TD square. They have a store in there that sells some pretty funky suits if I remember correctly. Along with your standard ones too.

Did you ever figure out a secret shop for pink or blue suits? Suddenly I might need one.
