Default Editing MP3 length

Hey,

Anyone know a free program that will allow me to just crop a section of an mp3 and save it as another mp3?

IE:

I have an MP3 phone, and can have MP3's as the ringtone, but I don't want a whole song as the ring tone, just one part.

Anyone know?

Thanks

Goldwave is good.

You can use the trial version for free (2000 uses), which allows you to snip, convert, and alter mp3s and other media files.
