Habs/Hawks Deal

The highly protected Lehtonen has been moved to the Chicago Blackhawks. Proving that no players are untouchable, GM Beerfund put an offer on the table for Kari Lehtonen and it was accepted. Coming back to Montreal is a solid young goalie in Cam Ward and Saku Koivu. Joining Lehtonen on the flight to the windy city is Martin Erat.

The Hawks are beyond thrilled to aquire Kari Lehtonen. He is a young (22) future super star in goal. We feel the Hawks woes in net will eventual be answered with Lehtonen.

Sadly we had to say good bye to Saku Koivu. The bonding session was done, and Saku can now spread his wings and help the Habs in their playoff quest.
