I love Neil Young so I'll definately be checking this out. The article says it's more than just a concert film but I don't really understand how? It mentions that the musicians have costumes and the backgrounds change but not much more than that. I think this film was filmed in Nashville where Young played for 3 hours each night, I would have loved to have been at one of those shows.

Neil Young is one of the only musicians left with any credibility. Most of those old rockers have turned into satires of themselves.

Well, I would say the difference is that the visual the viewer gets is what the artist deems to be important to his message. A regular concert film is simply an opportunity to relive or see for the first time a performance. In this case, you are being led into Young's vision. I think it's a difference.

So true...one of the few that is aging with grace..and he's still making the music he wants to make. Gotta respect the guy.
