Default Watching the olympics in the USA

Just a quick question for those living in the US - I'm going to be in California for the second week of the Olympics, and - obviously I'm looking forward to it - but unfortunately, I have no idea how I'm going to watch the hockey games. How popular are they (tv coverage, etc)? Am I going to be able to watch them (and not just the American games)?

Thanks a tonne guys!

You'll probably be able to see hockey, but be warned.. US coverage of the olympics is awful compared to the CBC

And apparently to be on the US Olympic team you must have overcome some huge obstacle, at least that's the impression I get watching NBC coverage in past olympics.

Hockey coverage is very decent in the US. All games will be shown live in their entirety on MSNBC and in HD on Universal HD, except for the gold medal game, which will be live on NBC/NBCHD.

Yeah, I noticed that too over the past few Olympics as well. NBC is far more interested, it seems, in showing "human interest" stories about American athletes than they are in showing the events themselves.
