Frozen Pidgeon

[Hack&Lube]

So I was walking downtown outside the courthouse after work around 8 when I almost stepped on a Pidgeon on the sidewalk.

Poor guy looked pretty plump but the sudden cold snap must've killed him. Maybe he fell from the sky or something but he was in good shape so maybe he was just walking and collapsed. Man I felt so bad for the guy to die on cold concrete, I didn't know what to do with him except pick up him with some paper and put it on the trash.

The ground under him was dry so he died recently. I wish I could have put him inside and see if it resucitated or anything. I was even more ****ed off that some loser downtown gave me some total bullshinguard story about him being from Fort Mac and stranded in Calgary on the weekend and needed cash for a $18 ticket (Greyhound is actually like $56 or something)...I wanted to get home and the freak was following me so I threw him the change in my pocket - unfortunately it turned out to two toonies.

Jesus Christ. What's with pigeons these days? The other day, I was walking down the street when a pigeon just fell out of the sky and started doing the funky chicken on the sidewalk on front of me.

Worst part about it was that I bumped a pole (cause I was busy looking at teh pigeon) and dropped a full beer.
