Default Axl Rose says "people will hear music this year"

a rare public showing at Korn's tour announcement.

Terrible taste in hockey jerseys, though...

Corn rows, a Leafs jersey and a big platinum necklace and he still manages to look like an Edmontonian roofer with a sunburn. Amazing.

Axl Rose says "people will see my beer gut"

He looked and sounded awful (IMO) when they played on the MTV awards, and this album is bound to be and over-produced, over-worked mess.

The only positive was that Robin Finck (formerly of Nine Inch Nails) was in the band for a time, but I'm not sure he's still around.

I saw a picture of him at the same show hanging out with Good Charlotte. What are you thinking Axl?

Of course people will hear music...but it won't be GNR music.

People hear music every year. Heck, people hear music every day. What, is he trying to be some kind of prophet?

Oh, he's referring to some new G'n'R stuff! Yeah right, I'll believe it when I... well... hear it.

Maybe he'll call it Axl Rose and the Funky Bunch and become a hip hop band to stay with the times. He already has the jersey, the bling and the nasty braids.

Axl Rose is a talented song writer.

Too bad he has lead singer syndrome, and is generally just a jerk.

Amen.

It won't be the same with out Slash anyway. His guitar work (and it's unique IMO) was as much a part of what made G&R special as Axl's voice and writing.

Maybe Axl's referring to a new Velvet Revolver record? That'd be cool.

He was a really good rock star though. Bad behaviour, riots, coked out supermodels, biker shorts on stage, ridiculously over the top videos. That's how you do it! On that MTV thing he performed on a few years ago, he made everyone else look like amateurs even though he was singing a lame song and was about 40 pounds overweight.

Ya you definetly gotta give him that. He's a really good rock star, and talented song writer. His voice just ain't the same though, in my opinion.

Just the same, I think everyone here is going to check out his new stuff when it comes out. Despite the critism. I for one am curious, as should anyone who is a fan of the old GnR music.

(Though I agree, it's probably gonna be crap)
