The monents that I actually saw on live TV were: 95,88,86,83,61,56,51,46,45,43,39,36,35,26,21,16,13 ,11 and 4
Not bad, i've witnessed 19% of the best moments of the last 25 years.
No wonder my freinds tell me I watch too much sports.

Interesting to go through that list and remember all those moments.

For pure drama I'll take Gibson's homer. Dude hobbles up to the plate and takes two real ugly swings before launching his big shot. That's the stuff that legends are made of right there.

Joe Carter at #43 is a complete joke.

Should be higher, I agree. Unfortunatley, the American bias shines through. Miracle on ice number 1? Come on...

OK, so they voted the top 100 sporting events of the last 25 years, and only THREE are for hockey (four if you count the miracle on ice)?! And of those three, the highest ranking is #38, the Rangers winning the 1994 Cup? Who the hell are these idiots? The 1987 Canada Cup finals, cosidered far and wide to be the best three games of hockey ever played didn't qualify?

Its American (ESPN). Don't forget that...I think it has a lot to do with the popularity of the sport, tv ratings, etc etc....

Wow, funny how many of these were completely insignificant to me. On the other hand, something like Reggie Miller's comback against the Knicks seems to be much more memorable--one of the greatest individual moments I've ever seen--I'd put that somewhere at least in the top 50, if not the top 15.
