So probably Farabee goes to the Backlund line and Yegor gets back in?

This will probably give Zary a good chance to show he belongs in the top 6, or at least the top 9. I hope he doesn't waste it.

Honzek is having a great season to date, so hoping for a full and speedy recovery.

Honzek has been one of the major bright spots for the Flames this season.

Honzek is part of the future for this Flames team as I see him continuing to work hard and develop, he could be a lock for a top 6 forward for many seasons ahead.

Backlund s such a goon.

Man that sucks. Honzek finally finally got some traction on his NHL start and vang, the captain takes him out. Feel bad for Backs too, sure he feels awful about it.

Sharangovich sat yesterday so they will just put him back in the lineup. I don't think the call up will be a prospect, more like Hunt or Kirkland again

Yeah I thought he managed to keep his head up. But he was bent over like shoulder. Surprising - even though it was unexpected it wasn't that violent.

Plus a concussion wouldn't be week to week a day later.

Honzek can't catch a break.
Every time he looks like he's starting to feel comfortable and get a feel playing in the NHL, he gets injured. Hopefully he's able to pick up where be left off when he comes back.

Good size, can skate, kind of suited to a bottom six role but also has enough skill to maaaaaybe contribute some offense. He's like the Swedish version of Honzek, except he stays healthier. He's also 4.5 years removed from being drafted. Time to get a look at him IMO

If a player with 2 goals is a major bright spot, then this team is even worse than I thought!

Yeah no fun allowed guys. Definitely don't enjoy watching a guy figure out playing at the NHL level.

It’s a misleading statistic if all you’re looking at is goals on a team that is last in the league in scoring.

Forward looking, Honzek is a bright spot with lots of runway to continue to develop and play with a more offensively talented team in 2-3 years.

I think thats the best hit I've ever seen Backlund make. Shame it was against his own teammate.

I'd stick Zary on the Backlund line so they can fix him
