He doesn't look 75 at all in any of those pictures. Looks like Jon Bon Jovi in them. Anyway, I've always appreciated writers and journalists who are willing to buck the trend and not kiss up to the players or organization, and tell it like it is. There's much more need on the spectrum for writers like him these days. Haven't heard from him in awhile, so I guess he was retired. RIP.

Sad news. Obviously an epic battle with Torts a while back that put him on everyone's radar. Can't say I really read his articles or followed him otherwise, but he was still a member of the hockey world.
I'm sure Torts will have a camera shoved in his face and someone trying to get some kind of sound bite from him about this.
No he was still very active. Most of his articles in the NY Post were in the relatively new "SPORTS Plus" section - i.e. behind a paywall (since fall of 2021).
So I think broader distribution of his articles fell precipitously after - maybe that is why you didnt see much from him last few years? Probably the #1 read local hockey writer here in NYC still? At least for the Rangers, for sure.

He was officially banned from Madison Square Garden at some point. His bouts with Tortorella were epic. R.I.P.
