GAMEDAY: Jets at Flames
A long, gruelling road trip through the majority of the Pacific Division comes to an end tonight for the Winnipeg Jets.
They’ll take on the Calgary Flames (5-12-2) tonight at Scotiabank Saddledome with a chance to sweep the season series and, more importantly, end the six-game, 13-day trek on a winning note.
“It’s no secret the trip hasn’t gone the way we wanted it to. We’ve let a few games slip away,” said Luke Schenn. “The reality of the schedule right now is you don’t have a lot of time to dwell on things. You have to correct things on the fly and learn from it.”
Slumping Jets look to beat Flames for third time this season
The Winnipeg Jets have one shot to spin some positive into their road trip when they face the Calgary Flames on Saturday.
After a 5-3 loss to the Seattle Kraken on Thursday, the Jets have dropped four of five outings, all in regulation time, during their road trip that concludes in the Stampede City.

It isn't a concern for the tank even if they win tonight, as 7 of the next 8 are on the road, and the lone home game is DAL.
We will be firmly in 32nd at the 20 game mark, Thanksgiving, 30 game mark, Christmas, and New Year's.
Pick whatever benchmark date or number of games you like - the answer will be the same when we get there.

Veteran team like the Jets won’t take Flames lightly as San Jose did. Pretty sure Jets will bring their A game.
Will be a tough night for our Flames. If they can play the same game against the Jets as they did San Jose it will be a fun and interesting matchup.
Perfectly executed Huska system against a contender. Should make for good watching.

They're doing their part to help your grandpa figure out that he shouldn't believe anything he sees on Facebook.
Brz actually has 6 assists, which makes the points total correct.

Should be a good game. Flames must be feeling a lot better about themselves right now, and the Jets must be coming in feeling really tired. I still have to give the edge to the Jets tonight obviously, but under the circumstances, this may be a winnable game.
