Disappointed to see Kuznetsov on the list. Thought he had a really strong camp. I hope he remains unclaimed. I could see him being on the radar for one or two teams.

Bowers, Brisson, Gunler, Suzuki all seemed quite promising

Also bummed about Kuznetsov. The guy was great with the Wranglers last year and had a good camp. I think he’s better than Solovyov.

He has 850k in salary next season, think it’s probably going to keep him in the org and give him another season to develop

Like I said in the D thread, Solo looked better in the 2nd week. I also like one of Bean/Solo better as the 7th D, as I think the top 6 D are set. Kuznetsov needs to play on a nightly basis, and he isn't quite ready.

I could are see STL putting in a claim for Morton, I think he can be a good 4th line C in the NHL.
Carolina could be an interesting destination for Kuznetsov, but I think he will go unclaimed.

On the bright side, if Morton is claimed - TacoBoy is one step closer to a space.

First CP infiltrates the media, then the locker room, next the senior admin.

It would be terrible to lose Morton to waivers. Fingers crossed he sneaks through as I really see this guy being a contributor this season. Do not agree with waiving this player over some others still around.

Which Forward would you waive instead? Kirkland, Lomberg, Klapka, Pospisil or Kerins?

The Flames only have 15 forwards remaining, likely with Gridin going down in a couple of days?

I think they're trying to sneak a couple of players through waivers early, instead of the last day of camp.

Kirkland, it’s not his first time and coming off major injuries

Doubt anyone would pick him up and if they did, oh well

Kirkland.

If anyone decides to pick him up they just get a shootout specialist at very best, if even that.

Yup, yet Jake Bean who had one decent showing the house whole pre-season survives. I don't get it.

I thought we were going with Taco King. Perhaps once he makes it?

Really shocked about Brisson, he seemed like a virtual blue-chipper at one point.

Kuznetsov makes 125k in the AHL. It's ~650k of real money saved by sending him down over Bean.

He was fine, but I don't think he moves the needle enough to send down one of the team's one-way contracts to play in the minors (although, I suspect they'll need to do this with Miromanov).

I think what you meant to say it was $x.x million wasted real money by signing Bean.

Why would you not at least put him on waivers to see if some GM who has a lost his marbles moment claims him?

Are players on the waiver wire for 24 hours before they are deemed cleared? So what time would that be?
